Your download has started

Before you open it: Windows will probably warn you about the installer. Here's what to do.

If Windows says it protected your PC

Clipzen has just launched. Windows judges apps partly by how many people have already downloaded and run them, so any new app gets this warning until enough have.

It's about how new the app is, not about anything in the file. The warning goes away on its own as more people install Clipzen.

  1. Click More info

    It's the small link under the message. The Run button stays hidden until you do.

  2. Click Run anyway

    The installer opens, and Clipzen installs like any other app.

If your browser blocks the download

Some browsers flag new files for the same reason. Tell the browser to keep the download.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the downloads panel and point at the Clipzen file.
  2. Click the three dots, then Keep.
  3. Click Show more, then Keep anyway.

Google Chrome

  1. Open the downloads list (Ctrl + J).
  2. Find the Clipzen file and click Keep, or Download suspicious file.
